Recently completed marine grade plywood covers for endangered juvenile and baby terns have now been put in place by Mid Coast Council. They have been deployed at both Old Bar and Harrington and Council Environmental officers report that we now have chicks on the ground. The first image shows two little ones adjacent to a shelter a couple of days ago, this image was received by email on 27/11/2018.  The second image is of some of the shedders who were involved in the fabrication of the tern shelters and the third shot is the second half of the completed order, at our roller door prior to being picked up by Council recently.

Forster Tuncurry Men's Shed is proud to be a part of this important MCC environmental program, which extends from Harrington in the north to Tea Gardens in the south.
